Digital Marketing And Social Media Intern

Do 303 is an event discovery platform that connects people in the Denver and Boulder areas to the best things happening around them — from live music and comedy shows to food specials, arts, and cultural events. It acts as a go-to resource for exploring the local scene, offering curated event calendars, ticket giveaways, city guides, and venue highlights. This company operates in major cities across the country, with each local platform branded to match the city’s ZIP code.

As part of my role, I created and managed digital and social content while attending various media events to promote other companies on Do303 and gather coverage. I wrote and published two articles on the company’s website, including one highlighting the best thrift stores in Denver. Additionally, I kept the website up to date by editing and replacing event cover photos, uploading new listings, and correcting any misinformation. I also ensured users had a positive and seamless experience while visiting the site.

Boulder Hot Sauce Company

Social Media & Creative Marketing Intern

The Boulder Hot Sauce Company is a locally owned business built on a family hot sauce recipe. I managed and rebranded the company’s social media presence by creating a strategic content calendar, developing original video concepts, and elevating the overall brand image. I also ran their social media accounts, producing engaging content tailored to their audience.

The rebrand focused on the idea of selling "Boulder in a bottle" — capturing the essence of the Boulder lifestyle through marketing and video content. From snowboarding and dining out to embracing the outdoors, the goal of my videos was not just to sell hot sauce, but to sell the spirit of Boulder itself.

Boulder Hot Sauce Insights

Before I joined Boulder Hot Sauce, their Instagram page had just 180 views between January 28 and February 28. In my first month leading content creation and strategy, views increased to over 10,000, with 50.4% of views coming from non-followers. I also grew the account from 280 to 383 followers by creating engaging, on-brand content and improving visibility.
